OUR LOVE OF CREATURES GREAT & SMALL

Pets and wildlife are great subjects to paint. Painting these portraits are nice to do and hopefully are given a well deserved place on the wall when completed. Likewise wildlife are great subjects to work with and are also an education in themselves. Awareness of natural history becomes a by product which builds with time. Even as a child collecting tea packet cards fostered a strong interest in wildlife and nature as a whole.

Karen’s rescue puppy all the way from Crete. After several days travel across Europe Toffee is now safely at home in Yorkshire with a forever home. Helped with the last leg of the journey that saw Toffee safely home with a happy life now ahead of her. A task well done by all those involved in the rescue process.

This painting of ALAN a Cockapoo was gifted to a local dog charity fund raiser draw via a local veterinary nurse and practise. The winner was very pleased and now has the painting displayed at their home.

Managed to capture the air of distinction and thoughtfulness that Archie exhibited. Using the colouring of his eyes as a guide for the background colour helped the painting immensely.
