STANDING GUARD.

Painting these portraits is nice to do and hopefully they are given a well-deserved place on the wall when completed. Likewise, wildlife are great subjects to work with and are also an education in themselves. Awareness of natural history becomes a byproduct which builds with time.

Even as a child, collecting tea packet cards fostered a strong interest in wildlife and nature as a whole.

Karen’s rescue puppy all the way from Crete. After several days travel across Europe Toffee is now safely at home in Yorkshire with a forever home. Helped with the last leg of the journey that saw Toffee safely home with a happy life now ahead of her. A task well done by all those involved in the rescue process.

Managed to capture the air of distinction and thoughtfulness that Archie exhibited. Using the colouring of his eyes as a guide for the background colour helped the painting immensely.
